SPRATTY SAYS 13-01-2007

After a dignified hiatus, Grafton has emerged from it's annual summer break in pretty good shape. As local luminaries dust off the sand, wipe off the zinc and drift back  to town revitalised by their annual eastern pilgrimage. Just another reminder of the priveliged provincial lifestyle we enjoy here in the Valley.

With plenty of rain  to rinse off any grimy remnants of a busy 2006, the 2007 meter is well and truly running. It didnt stop completely around town this year, with large numbers of tourists winding their way through the Valley in one form of transport or another.

On the homefront CC girl returned from 'leave' somewhat reluctantly, mainly I think because there was some serious shopping to be done.

A big thank you to the family she billetted with at the Beach, it was both generous and unexpected. Just quietly, she's getting a sweet tooth for various aspects of her new job, especially payday. The Big One finally surfaced after New Year with a thousand resolutions, another ex-boyfriend and a baby cockatiel, there's got to be a message in there somewhere.

Workwise it's been busy with a few visitors finding a replacement car at Mighty River, and a few more gaining the benfit of the expertise in the Mighty River workshop as the boys weaved their magic on some pretty complex jobs.

Exports continue to keep us busy also with cars flying all over the place. In particular Sydney, Tamworth,Dubbo, Brisbane as well as Coffs, Casino, Inverell and Ballina.

Finally dont forget to visit our website www.mightyriver.com.au or better still call in and check out the latest from Ford and Hyundai as well as the valley's best range of pre-owned cars

Happy motoring,

Spratty
